L250 19th century wooden firkin with staved sides and steamed and bent handle secured with wooden pegs bearing old blue over original blue painted surface. The finger lapped bands are secured with tacks and one tiny staple at the very tip of each band. Very sturdy. Great natural patina inside.
Measurements: 12” top diameter x 12 ¾” bottom diameter x 11 ¾” tall.
