L268A Large six-sided pewter wine container with threaded lid with ring for carrying, and threaded spout cover. Engraved “HC.SHB” on side and bears maker’s stamp on bottom “R-B”. Very heavy. This is a typical style of wine vessel used in the 18th century and was also known as a “Prismenkanne” or “Zinnkanne”. 
Approximate measurements: ~7 ¾” across widest point on bottom x ~11” deep to tip of finial on spout lid x ~15 ½” tall including ring on lid.
