L271 Late 19th century General Store Coffee Bin for “Jersey Coffee” with its original pumpkin painted surface advertising “100 pounds Jersey Coffee” stenciled in black on the front, and “Pittsburg Pa ” stenciled on the back. Hinged slant front lid on top bears “Jersey Coffee” and “Dayton Spice Mills Dayton O.” in black with black pin striping. Applied molding surrounds the lid. Clean, natural patina interior. Circa 1885 – 1890’s. 
(NOTE: “Jersey Coffee” was a specialty brand of the Dayton Spice Mills Company, established in 1885.) The wood is pine. 
Measurements: 22 ¼” wide x 17” deep x 31 ¾” tall (back) x 27 ¼” tall (front).
