L27 Fantastic Folk Art wooden carving of a Coal Miner with Tools. Hand carved and painted with great details throughout. The Miner’s accoutrements include a helmet/hat with lamp, boots, canteen, pickaxe, coal shovel and very detailed clothing including metal buttons constructed of square head nails. Solid wood. Unsigned.
Wooden base is 8” square. Overall height is 25 ¾” tall. Coal shovel measures 3 ¼” wide x 11 ¾” long. Pickaxe measures 5” wide x 11 ¼” long.
