L39 Pair of Canvasback decoys carved by Earl Dunbar “Dick” Hipple (1891-1980) of Havre de Grace, Maryland boasting the "F" brand on the underside of both – for the collection of Henry Fleckenstein.  Both decoys retain what appears to be the original paint, and both show evidence of being shot over. The Drake retains original weight and staple on bottom and measures approximately 17” long x 8” tall. The Hen retains original weight, staple and ring intact on bottom and measures approximately 16” long x 8” tall.
