L415 Great piece of Americana Folk Art! This wooden hand carved and painted wall mount depicting a large Eagle with Shield boasts deeply carved details to the feathers, feet, eyes and beak. Original gold gild, red, blue, white and black polychrome painted surface. The Eagle is clutching several arrows in its right talons and a dimensional carved shield stars and bars in its left talons.
Measurements: 43 ¾” wingspan x 5 ½” deep x ~15 ¼” tall.
