L438 Late 18th Century New England Candle Stand in original blue painted surface circa 1760 -1790 with a very beautiful turned center column resting on three padded feet that are dovetailed into the column. The one board top is secured by early wooden pegs to which is attached to the base. Wonderful, early, iron blacksmith made brace is added to secure legs, which is nicely done. The wood is walnut. The candle stand is all original.
Measurements: 19 1/4" x 19 1/2" top diameter x 24" tall.
