L455A A very fine wrought iron game hanger known as a Dutch Crown. This is in the style of game hangers dating from the 18th century but this one was probably made in the early 20th century. It is a fine made example decorated with scroll work, birds and attached  to the arched bars. It has 8 hooks from which game would have been hung to mature, but it would now be ideal for hanging  kitchen utensils. It is topped with a suspension loop with rooster figures and scroll decors. Light wear consistent with age and use, Patina consistent with age and use.
Approximate measurements: 15 ½” diameter (to outer points of hooks) x 13” tall (in center.)
