Wood Boxes and Bins

L468A 19th century Shaker miniature opposing finger lap oval pantry box with “H. V. Baker” stenciled in black on the bottom, and inside the lid. Natural patina surface throughout. Partially indistinguishable handwriting in pencil on the top of lid indicates this box held seeds in 1918. Exceptionally fine, delicate steamed and bentwood construction with top and bottom being secured with tiny wooden pegs and overlapping fingers secured with tiny tacks.
Diminutive oval measurements: 4 3/8” wide x 3” deep x 1 5/8” tall.
