L73A Early 19th century iron “hog scraper” push up candlestick in old white painted surface. Tight, unmarked, working push-up thumb tab. Surface pitting and wear indicative of age and use. Very sturdy and tight.
No evidence of ever having a finger curl at top.
Measurements: 7” tall x 3 ¾” diameter (base).
