L77 19th century Virginia Pie Safe / Jelly Cupboard with applied gallery and a total of 6 hand punched beautifully patterned tins in the front. This piece retains its old blue over the original red painted surface.  Each door is fully mortised and wooden pegged construction and features three inset tins attached with small wire nails. The case is square head nail construction. Ends feature half-moon cut out feet. Circa 1840s – 1860s. Very clean, natural patina interior. The woods are walnut and poplar. 
Measurements: 43” wide x 16” deep x 58 ¼” tall. Each tin measures ~9” wide x ~13” tall.
