L80 Spectacular early1800's Tall Case Clock in original red and black paint decoration that simulates the grain pattern of mahogany wood with hand painted dial face and wooden works made by "R. Whiting, Winchester". The dial is hand painted on wood and is signed "R. Whiting, Winchester" in a gold banner positioned across the center of the dial. The four spandrel areas and the arch are decorated with detailed hand painted floral and other patterns, along with gilt gesso work that has been gilded. The original key, weights and pendulum are included.
Measurements: 83 ½” tall x 17" wide x 10 ½” deep at widest/deepest points.
