**SOLD** L95 18th century Pennsylvania Country Queen Anne painted and decorated hanging cupboard from the collection of Wallace Nutting (1861 – 1941) retaining original red and black painted surface, shaped sides and back, and decorated raised panel door. A circular sticker remains intact on the back that reads “Cleaned 10/74”. The wood is yellow pine with wooden pegs, rosehead and square head nail construction and original iron hinges. Nice decorative cutout to the back and all front corners are chamfered and molded. Included is the provenance of this hanging cupboard showing it displayed in Mr. Nutting’s collection as depicted in Plate no. 516 and 517 of the book: Wallace Nutting Furniture Treasury, Macmillan Publishing Company, Inc. New York, 1928. 
Measurements: 19 ¼” wide x ~8” deep x 27 ¾” tall (back) x 20” tall (front).
