L98 19th century New England Bail Handle Pantry Box with the original dry blue painted surface - signed "S.E. Morrill" in pencil inside the lid. Heavy construction with overlapping bentwood sides secured with small metal tacks. The sides of the Box are fitted with a pair of oval stamped tin handle mounts fitted with an arched wire swing handle with wooden hand grip. Clean, natural patina interior.
Measurements: 11” diameter (top) x 10 ¾” diameter (bottom) x 6 ½” tall.
