M1101 Super metal Trade Sign advertising “Hendlers Ice Cream - The Velvet Kind”. Sign is in great condition with original blue, yellow, white and gold painted surface and remnants of sign maker’s mark remains in lower right corner “M….5711”. Hendlers was manufactured in Baltimore, Maryland - started in 1905 – and grew into one of the most famous and iconic brands, being sold in over 400 stores throughout the state at the Company’s peak. The Borden Company purchased the company in 1929, yet it continued to operate under the Hendlers Creamery name until the late 1960s. 
Measurements: 51 ¾” wide x 31 ½” tall.
