M1125 Exceptional identified, dated and award winning Mid-Atlantic hand-hooked rug with a central floral and heart motif surrounded by a 5 ½” wide border featuring tall urns of flowers on each end and vines and flowers along top and bottom. The initials “JTK” and date “2007” are hooked within the center of the heart. A First-Place Blue Ribbon dated 2009 from the Maryland State Fair Timonium is attached. Vibrant colors of wool strips are tightly hand hooked on Monk’s cloth. Mounted and ready to hang. (“JTK” = Julie T. Kappler).
