M1126 Fantastic identified, dated and award winning Mid-Atlantic hand-hooked rug featuring a woman in a garden with a large red bird and oversized strawberries along with the initials “JTK” and date “2008” being hooked along the bottom edge. A First-Place Blue Ribbon dated 2008 from the Maryland State Fair Timonium is attached. Vibrant colors of wool strips are tightly hand hooked on Monk’s cloth. Mounted and ready to hang. This pattern is known a “Strawberry Blonde” by Carriage House Samplings.
