M1132C Hand carved wooden fish decoy, believed to be a representation of a Burbot fish, with yellow and black hand painted surface and stationery tin fins. Intricately carved single barbel on chin is characteristic of the Burbot – which is also known as the Freshwater Cod. Paint decoration to fins matches body. Carved details for mouth, gills and along the sides of the body. Glass eyes. Imbedded weight in underbelly. Handmade stand is included.
Approximate measurements: ~8 3/8” long x ~2 ½” wide x ~2" tall. Overall height when on stand is 3 ½” tall.
