**SOLD** M1178B 19th century Pennsylvania Dry Measure bearing original old mustard painted surface. Thick walled staved and bentwood construction secured with two metal bands. Branded “2 QTS. DRY” on the bottom. Great wear and patina from age and years of use. These were used in general stores to measure out dry goods such as grains, sugar, etc.
Measurements: 7 ¼” top diameter x 6 ¾” bottom diameter x 5 3/8” tall.
