M1180 Very nice 19th century Pennsylvania Gathering Basket with original dry blue painted surface, steamed and bent notched handle, and single wrapped double- rim featuring a thick inner rim, and slightly bumped up interior for weight distribution.
Measurements: 15” x 14 5/8” top dia. X 9 ¼” x 9 ½” bottom dia. The sides are 8 ¼” – 9 ¼” tall, depending on where measured. Overall height including handle is ~15” tall.
