M1181 19th century Pennsylvania hand woven Basket featuring early blue painted surface with a double wrapped thick wooden rim and a steamed and bent handle that is tightly woven into the basket. Basket has good weight and a nice, tight weave, with an interior bumped up bottom to help with weight distribution.
Measurements: The opening is 11 ½” diameter. Sides are 6” tall, and overall height including handle is approximately 10 ½” tall.
