M148 Early 19th century miniature Blanket Chest retaining original dry red painted surface. Six-board pine with dovetailed case and applied moldings to top and bottom, resting on turned feet that are mortised through the bottom. Square head nail construction. Natural patina interior – with the name “Kay Floyd” written in several areas inside. Circa early 1800s.
Measurements: 9 ¾” wide x 6” deep x 7 ¼” tall.
