M181 Large, round early 19th century Pennsylvania wallpaper Hat Box / Bandbox. The pasteboard box is covered on the exterior with wallpaper bearing leaves and botanical motifs on an ecru and salmon color patterned background. Interior is covered with several Harrisburg, Pennsylvania newspapers dated 1837. The bottom is covered with newspapers dated 1836 and 1837.
Measurements: 15 ¾” top diameter x 8 ¼” tall.
