**SOLD** M244 19th century wooden Butter Churn retaining early blue paint. Staved sides secured with metal bands and notched handmade wooden lid that fits snug around the top handle. The round plunger bottom with holes is attached to the shaft and all parts are original. You can see the wear from usage along the shaft of the plunger. Circa late 1800s.
The churn body is 22” tall (25” tall to top of handle) x 8 ½” – 9” diameter at the bottom and 8” at the top.
Total height with the plunger is ~29 ½”.
