This fantastic work was hand drawn and hand carved from a single block of wood, then hand painted with great details! Signed by maker, B.D. Framed measurements: 17 ¾” wide x 13 ¼” tall, with the carving measuring 16” wide x 11 ½” tall.

(NOTE: Benjamin D. Homan of Freeport, Long Island, NY was born in the late 1800s and was known to have made approximately 42 of these carvings to date in July of 1947- at which time he was also celebrating 60 years of marriage.)
