M318 Beautiful mid-19th century Lancaster County, Pennsylvania original mustard and green painted two-piece stepback cupboard boasting an unusual form with a high waisted base (40 ¾” tall). Applied wide cove cornice molding surrounds the top. The upper section has a cut-out pie shelf and two fully mortised 6-pane doors that open to reveal a clean painted interior with shelves and applied plate grooves/stops. The base boasts two dovetailed drawers over two, fully mortised raised panel doors that open to a clean interior with shelves for added storage. Stepback rests on tall cut out feet. The woods are pine and poplar with one-board, square head nail construction. Circa 1850s. 
Measurements: 61" wide at top (56 ¼” wide at waist) x 20 ½” deep x 87" tall.
