M332 19th century Apple Basket in old blue painted surface having fantastic form. The basket is sturdily constructed of oak splints with a swing bail handle. It has a wooden bottom from which each slat is attached with small iron nails securing each slat. Remains in superb original condition with an extremely fine surface displaying oxidation and very light wear.
Circa 1880 - 1900.
Measurements: 12 3/8” top diameter x 7” base diameter x 8 ½” tall sides.
