**SOLD** M38 19th century round candle lantern with hinged door that opens freely for access to the sturdy interior candle socket. All solder seams are secure. Lantern is glass and tin construction with a hinged door, conical shaped top bearing a crimped cover and round tin handle with folded edges attached to top.
This lantern is unique in that it also has latches securing the bottom – that can be released to remove the bottom of the lantern for easy cleaning of the interior glass panels.
Measurements: 5” diameter x ~13 ½” tall to top of handle.
