**SOLD** M48 Early woven splint Gathering Basket with sturdy steamed and bent, notched handle with original black paint on the rim and handle, and original pumpkin paint on the rest of the basket. Basket construction boasts a tightly woven decorative double rim with oval opening tapering to a rectangular bottom. The double rim is double wrapped on the sides, and single wrapped on one end, with losses to the wrap on opposite end.
Measurements: 14 ½” x 11 ½” top opening. Bottom is 11 ½” x 7 ½”. The sides are 6 ½” tall. Overall height is 11 ½” tall including handle.
