**SOLD** M51 Early 19th century Centre County, Pennsylvania corner cupboard bearing the original blue painted surface. Two-piece construction with one door with 10 windowlites with outstanding wavy, bubbled glass, over a single panel door below resting on a nice cut out base. Beaded edges surround each of the fully mortised and pegged doors. The molded window muntins are also mortised through the door frame. Beautiful, wide cornice molding around top, applied molding along both sides of the front and at waist. The interior retains original blue painted surface and boasts shelves in both sections for added storage. Plate grooves in upper shelves. Wide boards on back. The wood is pine with primarily square head nail construction. Circa 1800 – 1820s.
Measurements: 88” (7’ 4”) tall. Takes a 33 ½” corner at top molding. Case takes a 28” corner.
