**SOLD** M85 19th century Pennsylvania original red painted wooden Lantern. Four bubbled glass panels are contained within a wooden pinned and post construction frame. Hinged door allows easy access to the candle. The candle socket is made of sheet metal and the ventilation hole above the candle socket is covered on the exterior with a curved piece of sheet metal to create a hood that protects the candle flame from wind/rain. A wood and wire bale handle is attached to the top for carrying/hanging purposes. 
Measurements: 8” x 8” square x 11 ¼” tall to top of posts. Overall height including handle is ~15 ¾” tall.
