Wood Boxes and Bins

Late 18th century wooden bowl in beautiful worn, dry original red paint. Hand turned out of round with wide band around the top. Very unique flattened edge on opposite sides of the top opening that appear to have been created/used for propping the bowl steadily on its edge to scrape contents from inside the bowl. Natural patina interior reflects wear chop marks and cracks indicative of age and use.

Out of round at 16 1/2" X 17 1/4 " diameter x 5” deep.
