RM1122 Sensational 18th Century New England Child’s Rocking Chair in wonderful original green paint. Rocker features original woven seat and the detailed arms and steam-curved slats are all wooden peg construction.  There is spectacular wear to the backs of the intricately turned finials – which is indicative of the chair actually being used as a “walker” while the child learned to walk.  Measurements:  28 3/4” tall, 14 3/8” wide across front of arms,
Seat is 10 1/4” deep and Rockers are 18” long
