RM1327 Very unique, signed, Folk Art hunting scene depicting a Coon Dog treeing a Raccoon. High quality hand-carved Coon dog and Raccoon. Base is made from an angular/crosscut piece of raw-edge wood. Raccoon features painted facial and tail accents and the entire piece is coated with a very light coat of what appears to be either shellac or polyurethane. Signed on bottom, “Manis”. Unusual piece of hunting related folk art!
Measurements: base is 8" x 4" oval - overall height is 8 5/8" tall.
