RM1399 – 18th century tilt top candlestand retaining original paper label underneath that reads “Milton Litchfield County Connecticut”. Old black paint over the original red painted surface. Solid wooden baluster turned column with three highly arched dovetailed legs that are reinforced on the bottom with an iron attachment secured by rosehead nails. One board top with age crack. Original wooden turn knob beneath top to lock table in position.
