RM1434 Beautiful 19th Century New England original blue painted butter churn with original dasher. Maker’s stamp “C. WILDER & SON SO. HINGHAM, MASS” on bottom. (Hingham, a small town in Massachusetts, well known for coopering and bucket making.) Tongue and groove softwood staved sides secured with metal bands. Lid fits nice snug. Fantastic original, dry blue surface with natural patina interior. 
Plunger measures 43 ¾” tall. Base measures 7 ¾” diameter across top x 10 ½” diameter across bottom x 19” tall.
