**SOLD** RM1491 Fantastic 19th century Pennsylvania small sized lidded Firkin bearing the most beautiful original dark blue painted surface. Tongue and groove softwood staved sides are held in place with tapered lap joint wood bands that are secured with copper tacks – and one small staple at the very end of each point of the band’s overlap. Wire bail swing handle with wooden handle grip. Clean, natural patina interior.
