RM1544 Early 19th century East Berlin, Pennsylvania Schoolmaster's Desk over one dovetailed drawer resting on turned legs bearing original yellow painted surface. The hinged, slanted lift lid opens to reveal a clean, natural patina interior featuring a center configuration of two small, dovetailed drawers over one pigeonhole with mortised drawer stretchers. The case and legs are fully mortised and pegged construction. The wood is pine. Circa 1830s. 
Measurements: 35 ¼” wide x 25 ¾” deep x 37 ¼” tall (back) x 33” tall (front). 21 ½” clearance from apron to floor.
