RM1549 Late 18th century Eastern Shore, Virginia very unusual Hunt Table, or Slab, with demilune shaped top secured with rosehead nails. The base bears an early blue painted surface. The tall, tapered Hepplewhite legs are joined to the apron by mortise and tenon joints and are fully pegged. All original. Circa 1780 – 1800.
Measurements: 33” wide x 16” deep x 40” tall. (34 ½” apron to floor)
