RM1565 Rare Charles Nelson Barnard (1876-1958) Canvasback Drake decoy from Havre de Grace, MD. Decoy bears multiple layers of gunning paint in some areas with remnants of the original painted surface showing through over entire decoy. Evidence of being shot over exists throughout. Notice boat hull like body. Original balance weight remains intact on bottom.
