RM1483 19th Century Mortar and Pestle in original beautiful blue paint with remnants of various incised bands. The paint is a very dry indigo blue. Wear and a few surface age cracks indicative of age and use. The mortar is 7" tall x 5" diameter. The pestle measures 8 1/2" long.
