X33 Exceptional form 18th century Berks County, Pennsylvania Chippendale style Blanket Chest with the original dry blue paint featuring a dovetailed case with outstanding applied bracket base bearing beautiful cut out feet and a molded edge surrounding the top that is secured with wooden pegs.  The brass Chippendale escutcheon is original to the chest. The interior bears clean, natural patina and boasts the original fish tail hinges and a lidded glove box. Circa 1770s. 

Measurements: 44 ½” wide x 20” deep x 21” tall.
