Y202 Early 19th century Dome Top Chest from the Durgan Farm in Stafford, New Hampshire. Joseph Davis was said to be a frequent guest at the Farm. This is one of what was a pair of Chests that belong to the Durgan’s Daughters. They were displayed at "The Art institute of Chicago" in 1974 “Three American Watercolor Arts". This Dome Top Chest is paint decorated with bright yellow decoration on a Windsor green background with white initials on top, all original. 
Measurements are 30" long x 14" tall x 15" deep.
